<table width="450" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tr> <td class="font2"> <p align="justify">The Passages to Canada Speakers' Bureau is a diverse group of over 600 immigrants and refugees who have volunteered to share their experiences with youth and community groups. The Bureau consists of 3 specialized Modules, each addressing a different aspect of the immigrant experience.</p> <p align="justify"><em>Immigration/Refugee: </em> Immigrants and refugess who have made a significant contribution to the community share their stories of coming to Canada with youth and new Canadians.</p> <p align="justify"><em>Anti-Racism: </em> Immigrants/refugee Members with a commitment to Anti-Racism work share their experiences and encourage youth to speak out agaist racism.</p> <p align="justify"><em>Employer: </em> Businesspeople who have developed effective diversity strategies speak about their experiences and present a summary of best practices developed by the <a href="http://www.triec.ca/" target="_new">Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council</a> (TRIEC). The TRIEC study demonstrates how employers currently integrate immigrants into their workforces and how their businesses have benefited as a result. The summary provides insight into the challenges and opportunities available to employers who are drawing on the strong pool of talent among new immigrants.</p> <br> <p align="justify">A number of immigrant Members of Parliament are currently members of the Speakers' Bureau. <a href="passages_sb_list02.asp">Find out who they are.</a></p> </td> <td width="10"> </td> </tr> </table>
