 Moses Znaimer is best known to the Canadian arts and business communities as the brainchild behind Citytv. Znaimer was born toward the end of World War II in Tajikistan, where his parents had fled HitlerŐs advancing army. Today, Znaimer serves as the President and Executive Producer of MuchMusic, MuchMoreMusic, MusiquePlus, MusiMax, Bravo!, Space, CablePulse24, and is Vice-President of Development for Chum Limited. Znaimer is recognized for his ground-breaking approach to television built on innovation, attitude and energy. He has been praised for presenting Canada's multicultural mosaic on the air and has been awarded many honours for his work including: The Urban Alliance on Race and the Diversity Award, the Human Rights Centre Gold Medal and the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews Human Relations Award.
