Passages to Canada is a national storytelling initiative that provides Canadians with a greater understanding and appreciation of the contributions that immigrants and refugees make to Canada.
The Passages to Canada Speakers' Bureau is a diverse group of over 450 immigrants and refugees who have been selected to share their experiences with youth and community groups. There are 3 Passages Modules - Immigration, Anti-Racism and Employer and presentations are themed by request.
The Passages to Canada Digital Archive tells the story of immigration to Canada through a unique multimedia collection of multilingual interviews, photographs, traditional art and dress, recipes and personal mementos. These artifacts chronicle the compelling stories of Speakers' Bureau members.
